Missie's First French-Braids

Well, I'm no where near as good at it as my Mom was (yet), but it think it turned out pretty nice. Missie wasn't too thrilled having it done, but she sat pretty still. I think it looks adorable. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could do with her hair. It's very thin and grows longer in the top of her head, very short on the sides.

I like how pleased she looks with the result- very feminine!
You could try 'princess braids': part hair in middle, braid only the part above the ears, taking in the short strands, but braiding long enough to secure at back of head? That's the entirety of my hair repertoire....might look cute though.

Adorable! I think you did a great job, and I think Michaela is amazing to sit still long enough for you to do it! And I agree - it is wonderful to see how happy she is with her new look! I also think her regular way of wearing her hair is really nice too. As it gets a little longer, you can put it in those pig tails on both sides of her head - that reminds me of when you were a little girl!

Thanks for the idea Heather. I'll give it a try. Unfortunately Missie has almost no hair on the sides of her head.....I mean, nooooo hair! We'll see..... I'll post the picture if I can get it to work.
