Cute Quotes #1
Today while I was making Michaela her supper, she turned to me and said, "It's quiet....a little too quiet." I thought that was really cute. Don't know where she heard it, but I laughed.
Okay, this was nagging me and so I used google and it turns out that those lines are in Shrek ,one of Michaela's favorite movies.
It's in the scene when they arrive in Duloc and receive the animatronic welcome and indoctrination schpiel:

That's hilarious! By the way, as far as Michaela's achievement in swallowing air in order to burp, maybe you should google that too. Because despite accusations to the contrary, we didn't teach it to her. And if you didn't teach it to her either, then who did? On the other hand, we might have reinforced it a bit. Well, o.k. yes I'm sure we did reinforce it. But it's not our fault - she was just being so precocious and cute, that we just had to take delight in her amazing ability, and applaud her for it! Who wouldn't have? O.K. well maybe you wouldn't have, because you have to live with the consequences. But grandparents have special privileges, right?

As long as she doesn't do it in restaurants, I have no problem with her burping. I think it so funny! And adorable.
