This picture was taken at a bus stop on our way to Michaela's very first dentist appointment. She's using the stick to dig through the dirt, hoping to stir up some bugs. She may love bugs, but she's fastidiously clean, (probably gets that from her Dad!).

The Ant Hunter
Michaela will use ANY opportunity to hunt for bugs, whether we're walking to the park, waiting for a bus or whatever. This picture was taken at a bus stop on our way to Michaela's very first dentist appointment. She's using the stick to dig through the dirt, hoping to stir up some bugs. She may love bugs, but she's fastidiously clean, (probably gets that from her Dad!).

Has she been bitten by anything yet? Would that upset her? Does she like spiders? I like jumping spiders and wish I could be there to show her some. We have lots here. Cute little things...
She does like spiders. She picked up a huge ant once and it bite her. She was scared for a while, but quickly forgot. Now she asks me first if a insect will bite or not before picking it up. She's terrified of bees. Probably get that from me unfortunately. I tried to hide my fear of them, but kids pick up on a lot. A while ago Michaela let out a blood-curdling scream. Turns out she saw a fruit fly, which she thought was a mosquito. Our last visit to Mom and Dad's which resulted in a dozen mosquito bites, taught her to be cautious of them.
